The Hanged Man Card XII
Ruled by Libra
Radical Wirth Tarot By Carol Herzer - Self Published
The Hanged Man shows a figure hanging upside down from a branch or scaffold. Contrary to what we would imagine,
he appears happy and his posture is one of meditation and contemplation. In a reading this represents a time to be
philosophical, to study and meditate upon the position you find yourself in. Neptune is a planet associated with spirituality,
dreams, inspiration, mysticism and psychic abilities. It signifies a time for deep insight when you can see beyond what are
perceived as limitations.
When appearing in a reading it advises us that things are not always as they appear. By 'hanging upside down' we look at our
world and our situations from a completely different angle/perspective. Do not act or react - observe, listen and contemplate
- the situation may dissolve or an alternative solution may be forthcoming. In order to bring about change we often have to
sacrifice our long-held beliefs. By opening our minds to other truths and other perspectives, greater understanding of life and
of our personal and business relationships, will evolve.
Reversed: Your own selfishness or stubborn stance could be prohibiting progress. You could be playing the martyr
allowing yourself to be emotionally blackmailed. Do not wait too long to make change in order to regain control of your own destiny
When we are growing spiritually, we often reach periods when we question reality. The Hanged Man reminds us that there
are many levels of understanding depending upon how we view them.
Seek and you will find - allow your 'higher self' to communicate the wisdom of the Universe
