The Emperor Card IV

The Emperor is a regal man, successful, confident, secure and well-established. This major arcana is the card of leaders, Directors, and people in authority. The person in control of any given situation or problem. He feels born to rule and at his best is a thoughtful and sensitive leader.

He also represents fatherhood - fertile man, protector and providor. In a woman’s reading this card can show her husband or an important man with paternal overtones.

It may show an influential man whose help may be required. We can draw on his knowledge, wisdom and power, learn from it and pass on lessons learned to others. Thus moving on a karmic path of receiving and giving.

The Empress’s female strength, balancing the Emperor’s male power and energy, creates a balanced flow within our body and soul (Yin & Yan). When we are in harmony with the Universal energy, the better life is for ourselves and others around us.
